Animals in Oasys MiniHollywood

The Oasys MiniHollywood park has a zoological reserve where more than 800 animals from over 200 different species live. They mainly come from Africa and Asia. The animals of Oasys MiniHollywood live in facilities adapted to their natural habitat and with all the necessary conditions to guarantee their well-being. They are under the care of a team of veterinarians who ensure that our zoological reserve is a center for recovery and for environmental education for visitors.

Our zoological reserve forms part of the Iberian Association of Zoos and Aquaria (AIZA, for its initials in Spanish) as well as the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA). The objective of both institutions is to promote cooperation between zoological reserves on the Iberian Peninsula and Europe with the purpose of promoting education, research, and conservation of different animal species. These are the three main pillars that Oasys MiniHollywood’s work is based on.

Throughout the zoological reserve, the most important habitats of the African and Asian continents are recreated. They include the savanna, the equatorial forest, the desert, and rivers and lakes. This series of landscapes allows visitors not only to enjoy these enigmatic panoramas but also to learn about the natural habitats of the animals and how to conserve them.
